Honda & Acura Transmission Axle Seal Installer Kit
This kit is designed to accurately install transmission axle seals on a wide range of Honda and Acura models. The interchangeable flat drivers and centering pins ensure each seal is installed straight, smoothly, and to the correct depth—without damaging the seal or the transmission case.
This kit has been tested on a large number of vehicles from the 2000s and newer. While it has not been used extensively on pre-2000 models, it has performed successfully on every vehicle tested to date.
Update – 10-Speed Add-On Kit
The 10-speed kit includes:
- Driver-side 10-speed axle seal driver
- Passenger-side 10-speed axle seal driver
- Passenger-side transfer case style, axle seal driver (Pilot/Passport applications where the axle passes through the transfer case)
- One dedicated centering pin labeled '10' for t-case axle seal (for the other 2 drivers the #3 centering pin will be used from the Original kit)
- Separate 10-speed storage tray to hold 10-speed tools
The original axle seal kit and original storage tray remain unchanged. The new 10-speed tray is designed specifically to organize and store the additional 10-speed tools separately from the main kit.
These drivers have been tested successfully on Honda 10-speed transmissions, including Accord, Odyssey, Pilot, and Passport vehicles.
This update expands the compatibility of the axle seal kit to cover a wider range of newer Honda & Acura 10-speed transmissions.

Features
-
Fitment: Designed to work with most Honda and Acura transmission axle seals.
-
Components: Includes four flat drivers (labeled A–D) and four centering pins (labeled 1–4) to cover multiple seal sizes.
-
Function: Centers and seats the seal properly using the correct pin and driver combination for the application.
How to Use the Tool
-
Select the correct flat driver for your seal. Rotate the seal lip into the cutout until it sits flush against the driver.
-
Choose the correct centering pin for the transmission axle shaft. Pins are labeled 1–4. The correct pin will fit snugly into the transmission and help keep the driver centered for a straight installation.
-
Assemble the tool:
- Attach the selected flat driver to the drive handle
- Screw the correct centering pin onto the handle and hand-tighten
-
Install the seal:
- Lubricate the seal
- Use a rubber mallet to drive the seal in smoothly
- The driver will bottom out against the transmission case—no excessive force is required
- Once seated flush, remove the tool and confirm the seal is fully installed
If excessive force is required, you may be using the incorrect centering pin or driver attachment.
