Honda & Acura Rear Differential Axle Seal Installer Kit
This kit is designed to accurately install rear differential axle seals on a wide range of Honda and Acura models. The interchangeable drivers and guide pins allow seals to be installed straight, smoothly, and to the correct depth—without damaging the seal.

This kit has been tested on a large number of vehicles from the 2000s and newer. While it has not been used on very many pre-2000 models, it has performed successfully on every vehicle tested to date.

• Fitment: Designed to fit Honda and Acura rear differential axle seals.

• Special Application: Includes a stand-alone driver specifically for 2009–2015 Pilots and 2006–2014 Ridgelines. This specific driver has not been checked for which Acura models it fits.

• Handle Construction: The driver handle is printed using full Carbon Nylon filament for increased strength and durability.

• Function: Centers and seats the seal properly using labeled guide pins and interchangeable driver plates.

How to Use the Tool

1. Select the correct flat driver for your seal. Rotate the seal lip into the cutout until the seal sits flush against the driver.

2. Choose the correct size guide pin for the differential axle shaft. Pins are labeled 5–7. The correct pin will fit snugly into the differential and keeps the driver centered for a straight installation.

3. Assemble the tool:

   • Attach the selected flat driver to the drive handle.

   • Screw the correct guide pin onto the handle and hand-tighten.

4. Install the seal:

   • Lubricate the seal.

   • Use a rubber mallet to drive the seal in smoothly.

   • Hammer straight in only. Upward or downward impacts while the tool is seated may damage the Carbon Nylon handle shaft.

   • Excessive force is not required. If you find yourself needing to hammer harder than expected, you may be using the wrong centering pin or driver attachment.

   • The driver will bottom out against the differential case—once fully seated, remove the tool and verify the seal is flush.

Notes

• These tools are fully 3D printed. Minor surface variations or small discrepancies in the print are normal due to the printing process and do not affect performance.

• Certain brake cleaners may cause surface discoloration. This does not compromise tool function.
