Honda V6 Intake Manifold Block-Off Plate – Magnetic & Non-Magnetic Versions
This block-off plate is designed to cover the lower intake manifold after removing the intake plenum on Honda’s older V6 engines. It prevents debris, hardware, and tools from falling into the engine during service, and also serves as a convenient temporary tray for tools or small components.

• Function: Blocks off the intake runners to protect the engine during upper-end service work.

• Design: Features a flat, stable surface that doubles as a part/tool holder while working.

• Fitment: Compatible with most older Honda/Acura V6 engines, including:

  • J32A1–A3, J35A1–A9, J35Z1–Z8, J37

  • 1998–2008 TL

  • 1998–2003 CL

  • 1999–2017 Odyssey

  • 2002–2013 MDX

  • 2005–2015 Pilot

  • 2005–2012 RL

  • 2006–2014 Ridgeline

Material Options Available

This listing now offers two plate material options to suit different needs and working environments:

• Standard Plates: Ideal for general service use where the engine is cool during installation or removal.

• ASA High-Temperature Plates:
  Designed for improved heat resistance, suitable for situations where elevated temperatures may be present. ASA withstands temperatures up to approximately 230°F (110°C).
  Note: ASA should not be exposed to certain acetone based brake cleaner, or acetone-based chemicals, as these can damage or weaken the material. For cleaning, simply wipe with a dry or damp (water-only) cloth.

Magnetic Version (Optional):
In response to community requests, a fully magnetized version is now available.

• Contains 10 bar magnets centered in the tray, spaced 12 mm apart.

• Designed to hold tools, bolts, feeler gauges, and other small components securely during service.

• Can also adhere to any flat metal surface for convenient placement.

• Magnet channels are blocked off along the top edge for a clean, finished appearance.

Compatibility Note:
This plate does not fit the following engines:

• J35Y4, J35Y5, J35Y6 (2016+ Pilot, 2017+ Ridgeline, 2018+ Odyssey, 2019+ Passport, 2014+ RLX, 2014+ MDX, 2015–2020 TLX)

• J30A1 (1997–2003 Odyssey, 1997–2003 Accord)
  

• J35Y8 2023-2026 Pilot, 2026 Passport
