This block-off plate is designed to cover the upper intake manifold after removing the intake plenum on Honda’s new DOHC V6 engines (J35Y8). It prevents debris, hardware, and tools from falling into the engine during service, and also serves as a convenient temporary tray for tools or small components.

• Function: Blocks off the intake runners to protect the engine during upper-end service work.

• Design: Features a flat, stable surface that doubles as a part/tool holder while working.

• Fitment: J35Y8 Motor -- 2023-2026 Pilot // 2026 Passport

Material Options Available

This listing now offers two plate material options to suit different needs and working environments:

• Standard Plates: Ideal for general service use where the engine is cool during installation or removal.

• ASA High-Temperature Plates:
  Designed for improved heat resistance, suitable for situations where elevated temperatures may be present. ASA withstands temperatures up to approximately 230°F (110°C).
  Note: ASA should not be exposed to certain acetone based brake cleaner, or acetone-based chemicals, as these can damage or weaken the material. For cleaning, simply wipe with a dry or damp (water-only) cloth.

Both versions function the same in blocking off the intake ports and preventing debris from entering the engine during service.
